Begin by visiting Trezor.io/Start. Connect your Trezor Model One or Model T to your computer via USB. The website will automatically detect your device and prompt you to install Trezor Suite®, available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Download the official software only from Trezor.io. Once installed, open Trezor Suite® to begin setup. The application provides a clean dashboard to guide you through initialization, firmware updates, and wallet creation — all within a secure environment.
Follow on-screen instructions to create a new wallet or recover an existing one using your recovery seed. This 12- to 24-word phrase is the key to your crypto security — write it down and store it safely offline. Never share it online or take a photo of it.
Set up a strong PIN and optionally a passphrase for additional protection. These security layers ensure that only you can access your wallet, even if someone gains physical access to your Trezor device.
Once setup is complete, you can view your portfolio, send and receive coins, and track your balance — all from within Trezor Suite®. The platform supports hundreds of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and popular ERC-20 tokens, allowing you to manage everything from one place.
